I started out in Advertising Art Direction, right around the time interactive campaigns took off. Something about designing digital experiences just clicked for me. I loved that it wasn’t just about Strong visuals—it was about making people feel something, creating a sense of connection that felt fresh and exciting.

That curiosity led me to pursue a master’s degree in Product Design, where I could focus on creating these feelings.

During my studies, I met Aaron Lawrence, my first real mentor in product design and someone who completely shaped how I think about the work. Aaron, who was the Principal Designer at SunPower, taught me that design is more than just solving user problems; it’s about embracing humanity and kindness in everything we do.

He built a team culture that was supportive, empathetic, and human-centered—qualities that went far beyond design itself. Seeing this in action made me realize that creating a meaningful product is as much about the connections we build as it is about the designs we produce.

Since then, I’ve carried this philosophy with me. For me, product design is about solving real problems and making experiences feel personal, impactful, and memorable. And that’s the part I love most.
